"We are the music of nature"
Our bodies are energy systems that while vibrating, emit sounds;
depending on the quality of our emotions, the level of the
frequency of vibration will be more or less intense, which will
determine the quality of our lives.
We have the power to control these frequencies through our
thoughts, words and actions. "Each emitted thought is an
infinite wave which sets off his walk through the Universe and
than brings us what we have transmitted" "What you give is what
you get"
Through music and dance, the level of frequency with which we
vibrate increases its intensity, this way it gives us the
possibility to tune ourselves and learn to "play" together like
an orchestra, increasing consciously the quality of our sounds.
One of the music used as a better mean to achieve a high level
of frequency is "Psychedelic Trance", due to the variety and
composition of its sounds and rhythms. As its name implies, it
is about a state of consciousness where we can access
information from the Universal conscience and, if we feel like
it, acquire more knowledge about ourselves and our surroundings,
becoming more sensible and understanding with everything around
us.
"Nature, supported by the Universal Law, requires that the human
being always be in his top level of his physical, mental and
spiritual conditions. Who violates the Law of Nature, essence of
the Divine Code, has no other choice than to suffer the
punishment."
For this reason, it is necessary to maintain
ourselves in perfect health, which consists of a perfect balance
of physical body, mind and soul, with nothing that can disturb
us. Each human being
can, if he desires, rise himself to such a condition. We can
live in such a simple but scientific way, that we will not only
acquire great resistance to diseases but also obtain maximum
capacity of our creativity.
These days we have the availability to obtain infinite
information on various methods to achieve this, thanks to the
experiences of persons that have gone over the limits imposed by
Society Rules, and are now the live examples, that we can hope
for a better world only by changing a little bit our behaviour.
Thanks to the variety of methods, each one of us have the
possibility to find the way back to our real being, the one
which reflects better our own qualities.

FOOD HEALTH
We consider our bodies as perfect vehicles which
allow us to appreciate this life, therefore it should be one of
our priorities to give it the more suitable and best quality
fuel so that our performances can be carried out in an excellent
way.
From my own experience, each one of us has to
find what suits best for our bodies, thankfully today we can
find infinite information that can fulfil our needs, always
taking into account the respect of this Planet and all its
inhabitants.
If we want to be truthful to our desire of living
in freedom then we must authorize freedom to all living
creatures that surrounds us as well. Eating animal products the way
it is done in our Society today does not reflect this freedom.
Animals are not free to live, they have to die to fulfil our
pleasures. If we care for this Planet we can compromise
ourselves to search for a way of fulfilling the needs of our
body without breaking the balance with Nature. There are many

PRANA: An alternative way
of nourishment
Jasmuheen is one of these persons that through
her own personal experience have been educating and informing the rest of the
world for nearly 20years on how does our human biological system operates as a
whole, and how we could optimize our evolution in accordance with the Law of

What is Prana? Called the microfood of life. The vital, life-sustaining force of
both the individual body and the Universe. Qi, Ch'i, in Japan and China, Pneuma
in Greek, Maná in Polynesia and South America, Ruah in Hebrew.
Pranic nourishment is the ability to attract and then absorb all the nutrients,
vitamins and nourishment one requires, to maintain a healthy being, from the
Universal life force, a force which is also termed as Cosmic Particles or Chi
energy.
Prana stimulates the release of higher intelligence within us, increasing its
flow within us, allow us to perceive life from a different perspective, as it
expands our awareness and activates the usage of our master glands - the
pituitary and pineal - and stimulates them to function in a different way. These
glands also regulate brain wave patterns to either Alpha, Theta, or Delta wave
frequencies.
Research already have established that holding Alpha brain wave patterns makes
us less stressed and consequently healthier and that is achieved through the
practise of things like yoga, meditation and positive thinking. We have found
that when we can stabilize our brain wave patterns into the Theta zones then
this also magnetizes more prana to us and gives us much more freedom from
perceived human limitation. Increasing its flow eliminates feelings of
separation, loneliness, frustration, fear and ignorance, thus making life more
enjoyable. Prana can actually be felt as an inner pulsation of love, so
increasing its flow increases our experience of self love and love for others.
Prana is the base frequency of all cells as it gives life to all molecules and
atomic structure, however as our cells store mental and emotional imprints from
our experiences in life, sometimes cells can be polluted with emotional and
mental toxicity, to the point that the pranic flow is diluted. This results in
unhappiness and/or disease within a system and eventually the system breaks down
and dies. By consciously increasing the pranic flow, because it is a pure energy
with transmuting powers, we can recalibrate our cells back into a more
supportive frequency that enhances both the quality and quantity of our life.
The benefits of doing this, when understood make it a very attractive way to
exist in this world and makes our personal and global evolutionary process not
only more effective but also more enjoyable. It would eliminate all disease on
physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels, the unification of our
species into a more harmonious and respectful state of coexistence and the
elimination of all pollution on our planet.
An individual who is attracted in the idea of
Prana, as a form of alternative nourishment, must have attained a certain level
in their own personal evolution. It is said that many souls come to Earth
expressly to experience its density and limitation, to know joys of having 5
senses and the fun of eating, drinking water and wine, the joy of sex and
procreation and all that Earth offers as we clothe ourselves in physical matter.
However, there also comes a time in a soul's evolution here, that their two
higher senses of intuition and knowing become more active so that we soon long
to move beyond duality and feelings of separation and merge back into an
experience of being part of a more unified whole. The drive to be harmoniously
integrated with all aspects of our being - from lower to higher levels - comes
to all souls in time once they have learnt most of what being on Earth plane has
to teach them.
As we are in this world to give and to receive, this way of being can refine our
world so that everyone gets to see the beauty of life and move into the state of
experience where they feel that every moment is perfect."

CAN ONE BE ECOLOGIST
WITHOUT BEING VEGETARIAN?

"Sometimes I ask myself if people that consider
themselves ecologist have had anytime the moral dilemma which arises from
feeding oneself with meat of other beings who can feel. In most cases it is an
affirmative answer, but in few of these cases we see that one chooses a way that
goes in accordance with these convictions.
Maybe it is possible to untie ecology from the feeling towards other beings,
like most ecologists do. But I believe that doing so would be in disagreement,
if not hypocritical, since being concerned with the natural environment and not
caring for the sensitive beings (who feel) that live in it, is not wanting to
see a part of this reality. If we than add up that the systematic exploitation
of non human animals is one of the most unknown (and harmful) disease of the
Planet and human health which exists today, I consider that being ecologist
cannot be understood without a way of life which is vegetarian or vegan.
Otherwise you only need to investigate a little bit to discover that more than
half of soya, corn and wheat growth in the USA is used for feeding livestock for
human consumption (with its deforestation included), or that to make hamburgers
you need the same water as to shower yourself 17 times.
It is not enough to buy eggs from a yard or meat from ecological farming, the
industries will not cease to have financial gains until we adapt an ethical diet.
Statistics can be wrong once or twice but not in all cases.
Inform yourself like I have done. You will discover that eating meat or fish
and its by-products destroys the Planet, causes unimaginable suffering and allows
the industry getting richer at the expenses of our ignorance on the subject."

As we are liberated from our fears, our presence automatically liberates others.

HUMAN RELATIONS
Since my childhood I
have been able to live in a continuous change of environment, between
continents, countries, cities, villages and islands. This has made me a person
without a sense
of nationality or belonging to any place or religion. Travelling around, here
and there and feeling like a foreigner throughout the route I crossed, has given
me the opportunity to observe all people with open eyes, without the limited
view of preconceptions and prejudices set up by each different society.
However, this
situation has helped me to realise that I had, nevertheless,
formed my own judgments, consequence of my personal experience
with each individual. So, I arrived at the conclusion that my
judgment of any being that crossed my path was a result of the
quality of my state of conscience in that precise moment,
therefore could not be established as the Truth.
I have
experienced that my view of the exterior depends directly on
what I project from my interior. The perception of my reality
has been a result of the different kind of information I have
integrated in my consciousness throughout the existence.
Our actual state of consciousness makes us perceive
the exterior world like something separate and independent from
us. We see what our mind let us. We live within the limited walls of
our mind, constantly judging between opposites, (good/bad), misleading memories of our past
and anxieties for the future, a competition of voices which
prevents us from hearing, like a background noise we have become
accustomed to, and that most of the time we are not conscious
of.
We identify ourselves with the thoughts of our mind, we respond
to situations with prearranged patterns like well trained
animals, and as a result we are not aware of our real nature,
our Being.
"In each moment your conscience creates the world you live in. One of
the great knowledge which has arisen from modern physics is the
unity between the observer and the observed: the person that
directs the experiment - the observing conscience - cannot
separate himself from the observed phenomenon, and a different
way to look at it makes the observed phenomenon behave in a
different manner. If you believe, in a deep level, in the
separation and fight for survival, then you see this belief
reflected around you and your perceptions are governed by fear."
("The Power of Now" Tolle Eckhart)
When we try to get rid of what
we define "bad" within us or others, this, somehow, will appear
in the exterior, even as a disease. However, if in each moment
we accept that which IS, without judging it, we would know what
to do with it and than transcend it, without disturbing our
inner space. Negativity is caused by the mind as a form of
resistance, a non acceptance of the present situation.
"The opportunity which is
hidden in each crisis, does not become evident until all facts
of a certain situation are recognized and accepted completely.
While you deny them, while you try to escape from it or wish
that things where different, the window of opportunity will not
open, and you will remain trapped in such situation, which
will continue to be the same or it will deteriorate even more.
The acknowledgment and acceptance of those facts, bring a
certain level of freedom." (The Power of Now, Echkart Tolle.
If one day we try to stop any
activity and we take a little time for ourselves, away from
distractions, in contact with Nature, alone, we ask with
sincerity to our heart:
"What would give you real joy
in this moment?"
We wait in silence, without
thoughts, without any mental images, focusing our attention in
our interior body and what surrounds us, only conscious to be
present there, and even if our mind wants to distract us, we
will observe it passively, without causing any emotions, without
mattering. If we can achieve this, even if only for a few
minutes, we will have felt our real Being, we will have glimpsed
the Reality which exists beyond any concepts or definition.
And this will be the answer of our heart "I want to BE". Without
judgments or culpability. The real freedom, liberation from the
claws of the mind.
What has this got to do with
Human Relations? The process of the evolution of humanity
consists of BEING that, not only when we are away from daily
life, or when meditating (otherwise we would have all been born
to be hermits!), but all the time, and human relations are
fundamental for this purpose, as they offer us the opportunity
to integrate this knowledge through practise and comprehend who
we are. It is not easy, but very necessary for our growth. We
could convert it in an amusing game, by leaving our mind aside,
we would observe each other and through what we feel, we could
discover aspects of our personality hidden up to now, qualities
and beauty which we did not acknowledge; the simple truth, a ray
of light clearing the clouds of what the ego wants us to
believe.
In my opinion, human relations
should be given our full attention and understanding, due to the
reaction that each encounter causes to our own energetic fields
and therefore as a result to the energetic field of the whole
Planet.
How many times have we come out
of our meditation practises full of love and understanding but
as soon as a situation occurs that does not agree with our state
of mind, we are left irritated or confused?
We know that any person that is
attracted to our field, does so for the affinity of its
resonance, the interconnection of such energies will result in
some form of reaction, allowing the release of information from
our subconscious mind, for our evolution.
To be
conscious of this information, we need to maintain our attention
focused on our inner space, observing our emotions, otherwise our
mind will take control and any thoughts arising could censor or
distort the information which is trying to come up, resulting in
misunderstandings or rejection, fight or discussion.
When we meet, each one of us
experiences a different aspect of such encounter, you will be
the mirror of my interior self, reflecting those aspects I am
not conscious of.
The most
important thing that we want to achieve here, is to learn to
respond and perceive from our interior Being, by feeling; and
not from the mind/ego, cause of superficial emotions which can
fluctuate depending on the kind of thoughts we input. This
practise brings us an increase on the level of our vibrations,
changing our resonance field, thus our reality.
If we can reach the point of
accepting that we are all equal and that we are the cause of our lives, we will accept
that everything else are opportunities to bring light
to what we fear most, thus helping us to wake up from the
illusion.
Of course,
it is not easy, but possible and being conscious is not enough,
it is the first step. Even though I am writing these words, it
does not mean that I have finished the course and passed
successfully the exam, I feel more at the beginning of another
journey. But, yet I have discovered aspects of my personality I
did not see, by accepting them I can now work on them. The mind
is very clever, and the ego does not want to loose the power we
have given so easily; it will continue surprising us any moment we are not
present.

SPIRITUAL NATURISM
THE GREAT SOLUTION
The Great Solution is Spiritual Naturism. This means looking
after the body and the spirit, which we are. But there are so
many different followers on this regard, that it is necessary to
put a personal and clarifying stamp, so not to make any
confusion AND AVOID WRONG INTERPRETATIONS.
The spiritual naturism looks for satisfying the integral
necessities of the human being. It is based on the human being
not a simple meat conglomerate, but there is more to discover in
its internal structure. As well as giving health, it is directed
toward the knowledge of such a Reality or the reasons for
existence.
For this reasons its faith is set on the Awakening of latent
potentials in the human organism. There has been testimony in
the past and other more recent and including in the present day
which guarantees this. With the help of various personal
experiences and intuitions, the Spiritual Naturism penetrates in
the field known as Religion ( which means bind again man to its
origins, the so called creator or God). It is understood that
the path towards the divination of man can happen and is only
possible through a healthy life (pure, saint), in all senses and
meanings, which implies physical, mental, and spiritual purity.
With this regard, Society knows very little, as the important
truths necessary for the healing of the body and the good
spiritual atonement, are not very well known and given.
Our work structure is and must be scientific. That is provable.
Because the true science and the true religion have to go
parallel if not united. And with this premise we talk and we
express ourselves. We follow Shakespeare’s saying “Be sincere
with yourself and you will be sincere with all men”. We are
also faithful to the words of the great Truth lover the
biologist Herbert M. Shelton, who said “Say the truth even if
the heavens are falling” And equally consider the great sage
Salomon “Before anything, my son, acquire knowledge”.
Saying this we demonstrate that progress in any line of
knowledge requires truth, sincerity and transparency in what one
says, does and transmits. Only this way we truly are of service
to Society and to one self. It is to do with the practise of
truth, which will take you to knowledge.
We live moments of great social alteration. The media in their
competitive intention to gain audiences, transmit programmes
which are every time more high-sounding, from the most extreme
violence to noisy laughter, never ending facts which move and
perturb emotions, to sell more. All the contrary of what the
body and human spirit needs, education in truth. Truth on
health, it is the launching pad, to the correct spirituality,
which is not duly promoted, and in fact, it is eclipsed by
mundane and obscure interests. The spiritual or religious
phenomena are also socially distorted and manipulated due to the
same attitude, to maintain or defend theories which are not
provable. To re-conduct both aspects to its correspondent place,
is the great task and inclination of any being aligned to
support his own evolution and personal development. For that,
the application and revelation of knowledge, is absolutely
necessary (based on observation, study and impartial
investigation). Physical nourishment is essential but is the
spiritual nutrition as well, which takes you to knowledge.
Because of this we share with you a bit of our double vision,
body and spirit.
Today the great human and social necessity is for healing. And
this can only be achieved by detoxify or purifying the body. To
heal does not mean to take away the symptoms. To heal is making
the body re-establish its own internal balance and thus allows
the symptoms to disappear in a natural way. To this effect diet
has a great importance. And here we should consider Dr. Castelo
Blanco’s words, who said “What does not heal natural
medicine, nothing nor anybody will” Its action is slow but
effective, like it should be.
It is very difficult to follow a natural diet in a society which
pushes you to consume an infinitive types of anti-natural and
adulterated products (preservatives, flavour enchanters,
thicker, colourings). But who truly desires it, will grow a real
and proven health, more energy, vitality and will obtain the
best Health Insurance. Also you need to take into account that
NATURAL is the only way that which nature gives. And that
natural (whole, from complete) always will be the best on the
long run. Creation has appointed beings to provide food to man,
these alive beings are called trees and plants. We squander our
internal organs with inappropriate food, not natural. The most
natural diet, not cooked, is necessary and superior for health.
The human being is a physical and spiritual entity in and
evolution process. We all have a Divine Essence capable to
awaken to harmonize body and mind with the application of
acquired knowledge. The spiritual development is a reality which
in its optimal form, requires organic purification. This way is
how latent supernatural abilities can emerge.
We are energetic stations capable to tune to non rational
information channels and for that we need the organic cleaning
before mentioned. History confirms, that on this line, lived the
most important philosophers, sages, which humanity has had.
Love is an energy which looks to express itself. To love is to
live with responsibility and with respect to all life. It is to
flow stimulated by goodness in all you say and do. To promote
truth gives power to social wellbeing. Longing for power and
possession are obstacles to it.
The root of all evil is love for money (being an exchange tool,
in this created system,). The use it is destined for, sets the
levels of consciousness and personal ethics.
There is no greater love than that to serve to truth and
humanity.
It is not wise to defend opinions, ideas and theories (these
require investigation and verification) the right thing is to
support and bet for those transcendental truths which can be
demonstrated, the only one which encourage the social progress.
This is to do justice. Refuse this or block it, is unjust and
irrational.
We remind that education on Health is the fundamental base. And
even though it does not appear to be so, it is really very
deficient. Someone that has spent more than a decade through the
hard school of illness tells you so. Diet is important, but it
is not everything. For obtaining results, It is absolutely
necessary to live a different style to conventional. The present
contamination requires it. And only knowledge will clarify it.

RAW NUTRITION AND PERSONAL GROWTH
Nowadays,
while global consciousness is expanding, we can observe how all
of us are slowly becoming aware that the type of food we ingest
is one of the factors directly related to our general state of
wellbeing.
For whom
truly desires to compromise to achieve a balanced health in all
senses, there is access to endless information through internet,
books, etc. Unfortunately this can, many times, create a little
confusion and discouragement. Therefore, even though, these
information may be correct, as much the scientific as any other,
in my opinion, the only way to prove if this is certain, is by
observing and feeling our own body, the only real indicator of
our wellbeing.
Illnesses
and pains are our best guides to find out what is it that is
really happening inside here, and even though remedies can
alleviate symptoms, they do not contribute much in helping us to
become conscious of the true message which they want to reveal,
and so definitely cure us.

Four years ago I embarked upon a new (or forgotten) adventure
without being conscious where it would lead me; this is how I
started to feed myself with raw food. Now, after many
experiments and investigations I feel I have acquired the
necessary conscience to share my personal experience with you,
hoping that it can be useful as reference on your own individual
research.
THE FIRST STEPS
First, to cleanse or purify the body, I spent 1 month eating
only fresh and dried fruits and nuts, in the quantity that the
body asked me. The first week I had some pains in the stomach
which, according to information, it is caused by bacteria which
are formed by cooked food, especially cereals and animal
products. I could verify how raw food does not create anxiety,
nor addiction – when you are hungry, it is not painful, nor
avidity to eat, it is an act of gratitude to Mother Earth to
sustain us; it comes natural to eat in quietness and respect,
tasting the nutriment.
Before this experience, I had been vegetarian for 3 years,
eating sometimes eggs and cheese. I was never a great meat or
fish lover, becoming vegetarian was above all a decision of
respect for the animals and coherence with my love for them.
Even though eliminating completely the majority of animal
products made me feel better, still I could observe that my way
of nourishment was not adequate, my body was naturally more
attracted to fresh fruit and vegetables. For that I decided to
start experimenting.
During the first month and after, the levels of energy increased
considerably, daily I used to walk kilometres in the mountain,
picking up olives and working once a week as a waiter, just
eating fruit! Independent of exterior factors a sense of
happiness and joy grew in me and a deeper connection with all
around. After around 10 days stomach pains disappeared, and
could start enjoying the taste of each food without anxiety,
eating only when I felt so. I am person of tall constitution,
but I did not become skeleton-like, my body always maintained
its ideal weight and much healthier appearance than preceding
years.
I could maintain happily 100% raw diet for 4 months, up to when
for some objectives that I wanted to achieve, I changed job and
environment. Than I experienced how my unbalanced emotional
state, caused by stress etc., started to influence my will at
the time of choosing nutriments. Due to nervousness, I started
picking toasted nuts, a bit of cheese etc. etc.; until I went
back to the wheel of anxiety and addiction again. Even though I
was noticing how my energy levels were getting worse and all my
abilities, as much mental as physical, had lost its clarity and
slenderness, the state of mind overpowered my will.
The 4 years after, I followed investigating and acquiring more
knowledge and practising; maintaining raw nourishment sometimes
100%, 70% or 50%. Observing the body and state of mind in each
moment has helped me understand which one are the nourishment
and lifestyle suitable to strengthen the will, reveal inborn
abilities and therefore develop the evolution of my humanity
towards higher levels.
I observed that my body does not digest properly any of the
cereals (wheat, corn etc.) nor milk and by products or eggs. To
be able to give the nutrients it needs, food (fruits,
vegetables, seeds etc.) must be raw. I found a theory related to
blood types, which could partially explain why. My blood type is
“O”, which comes from Old, from the first human beings that
inhabited the Planet. This type of blood does not contain the
elements to digest properly cereals, milk etc., as these
nutrients were included in the diet later, when man settled and
started agriculture. (from here type A and AB which are more
recent).
According to this theory the first human beings were nomads and
hunters and its diet was based exclusively on meats, therefore,
supposedly, for people of this group it is difficult to become
vegetarian. I agree to cereals and milk, but I have been
vegetarian since 7 years with no problems and never needing
animal protein. And my body does not digest well meats neither.
Other theories, which I share as I have observed it on my body,
indicate that original human beings lived in the forest, eating
fruits, roots, herbs and seeds. Due to climate changes they were
forced to change its diet and start hunting. On my opinion, it
is possible that persons of this group are more suitable for a
raw food diet without animal products. It just needs to be tried

Independently of any diet we follow I am of the opinion that it
is very important to eat as much fruit as possible, as they
contain enzymes which regenerate our cells and are very good
substitute for sweets. I was able to prove that by eating fruit
in the morning and at night, even though at midday and afternoon
the food is cooked, this gives the body a chance for purifying.
THE EXPERIENCE
Changing a habit which have been implanted in our mind since
many generations is not easy, there is a variety of factors that
influence us, revealing the fact that nourishment is not simply
a physical necessity but it is bonded with our emotional, mental
and spiritual state and is, in my opinion, the first step which
help us comprehend ourselves and all the rest.
As we are more accustomed to use more our rational mind, which
in fact dominates us, we are manipulated by the suggestions that
we receive from the surroundings. One of the basis of the global
economy is nutrition, therefore, the commercial interests are
centred in spreading information to generate demands, to a
variety of products which, even though better the economy,
little have to do with the true necessities for an optimum
functioning of our bodies. Today the general nutrition is based
around the pleasure of taste, therefore more addictive, than
healthy. We all know the consequences, diseases, and the
situation seems to get worse. Is this a positive and effective
solution for the betterment of the species?
But it is clear, many millions euros turn around illness. Being
healthy is not profitable. You do not need medicines, nor
doctors or hospitals. If all human beings would dedicate to a
correct nutrition, according to the real necessity of each body,
how many industries would need to close?
Therefore if we want help to look for the right way of
nourishment, for its own survival, the world that surrounds us
cannot give it to us. Even though it sounds absurd, the reality
is, that to have a balanced health, we need to go like salmons,
against the current. To be firm and imperturbable in front of
amounts of comments, doubts and all sorts of “temptations”, some
beliefs are not enough. We need to KNOW from our inner self that
this is right. Only the direct demonstration is effective. “An
image has more value than thousand words”. When we are healthy,
the shine we emit is noted by all and is the proof which goes
beyond any concept, fear or mental belief.
By eating raw we become more sensitive with the body sensations
and the changes in the energy levels. Thanks to this, it is an
effective help to maintain the mind free of thoughts during
meditation, and with a bit of practise also during the day. We
begin to understand that each physical symptom is caused by an
emotion, result of some aspect of our physique, normally
unconscious. All together we will have more trust to effect a
change in our way of living which is more adequate to our true
nature.
Now I understand that it has been and it still is a purification
process on all levels. While the body is purifying the mental
processes improve as well, using more the intuitive side. The
necessary knowledge comes to me in the precise moment, is like
suddenly a window opens in the consciousness and than I
comprehend, so clearly that does not leave space for doubts or
debates. “In front of the Truth, everything is silent”. It is
here where the true discernment between true and false begins,
in one’s world. During those moments of clarity is when
knowledge becomes wisdom.
All of us are carriers of the Light; an image of a projector
comes to me. The source of all projections is pure light,
depending what we insert, the projector will reflect one image
or another. And if the lens through which the image is passing
is not clean, than this will be blurred or full of stains. Our
bodies could be like this. Depending on which type of food,
lifestyle, thoughts we introduce, so will be the projected image
and its degree of purity.
The simpler and most effective form that I have found to purify
the mind and body after many trials, is through raw nutrition
accompanied by an adequate meditation technique (which helps me
stop the flow of thoughts) daily exercise in natural
surroundings ( walk, dance, yoga etc.) and sometimes fasting.
Depending on the quantity of toxins accumulated, it will be a
more or less slow process but efficient, where patience,
constancy and above all love and acceptance of one self as we
are, are important factors to have a pleasant adventure.
Purifying is like cleaning a junk room which has been long time
closed; sometimes there will be things that we don’t want to
see, simply because our mind has judged it like “bad” or
“mistaken”. But to know what to do with it we will need to see
it, instead of judging it, either we throw it in the rubbish for
useless, or we will pass a clean cloth and resolve it and so it
will not bother us anymore.
Furthermore being in contact with people that are already in
this walk is fundamental, valuable information is exchanged and
mainly for not feeling alone and giving each others strength.
Meeting Balta and Marta at the Comunidad Cruda has helped me
clarifying small insecurities which were going around my mind.
Reading the Newsletter of Naturaleza Cruda with the experience
of many others helps me comprehend better the path I am on.
The social factor and living with people which do not eat raw
has been my major obstacle to convert to 100% raw, not for the
others fault of course, but for my lack of will power and
no-conscience which through meditation and research I have been
able to overcome.
Now I can happily sit with a group of friends that do not eat
raw and maybe not even vegetarian, enjoying a salad without
craving anything different, while they eat whatever they desire.
On my opinion the beauty of humanity is based on its diversity
and true love is the thread which unites us all, making us
accept and appreciate this diversity beyond our beliefs,
philosophy of life and personal truths, which can be important
for us but not necessarily for others, and this has to be
respected. If we are not happy with what we have, only we are
responsible to change the situation and we have the ability to
do it. We cannot oblige others to change so that we can live
happily with what we suppose truth is.
Even though, in my daily life, I am appreciating many benefits
of this way of nourishment, I do not try, and it is not the
intention of this writing, to convince anyone and not spurning
anyone eating cooked food. Only by eating raw one can understand
what it means to eat raw. I have found my path, and I have done
it from freedom, it emerged from my interior and than I looked
for the means to make it reality. From when I received the
information about raw until I put it into practise it took me 6
years, and after 4 years I can say I am a raw vegan eater
“Better late than never” they say.
On my opinion, each one of us have the innate capability and the
obligation to find which one is the path we have come to travel
through in his life, the rest is to learn to discern and find
which are the elements which help us fulfil such function, and
which are the ones that work against us. Body and mind are tools
to experiment Life, their state determines the experience. It is
the individual responsibility but conscious that this is what we
contribute to the wellbeing (or discomfort) of the whole, the
human species and its habitat, Planet Earth.
Sometimes it could be that you may have a desire to eat chips,
for example, do not restrain yourself, eat them, taste them and
enjoy, be completely conscious of each moment, of the sensations
of the body, so you will be able to understand the base of this
desire, and next time it can be that before a dessert you will
ask yourself if it is worth few moments of glory for the taste
buds, and hours or days of imbalances in all your bodies.
Little by little with this practise I discovered that these
desires do not appear anymore because I am satisfied, I am
complete, my desires now are to give, not needing or craving,
but transmitting this peace and therefore allowing the
vibrations which my bodies emit to be as positive as possible.
And this is where this wonderful adventure is leading me, to
enjoy Life from fullness, not from lacking or dissatisfaction.
Feeling peace within, simply by being; learning to comprehend
and appreciate the beauty of each image which comes from the
projector, in each instant, knowing that I am going through an
evolutionary process of my conscience for the betterment of the
species, anything that helps towards this aim, it is welcomed.

PROSPEROUS AND SINCERE HUMILITY

Humility, when is genuine and sincere, touches you from it
simplicity. Already its etymology relates to the essential, to
the Earth. Because the word humility comes from Latin "humilis",
and this from "humus": that which Nature gets rid of and which
at the same time enriches it, fertilizes it and allows it to
grow. Humility tells us to free ourselves of the accessories, to
be able to develop the essential. It invites us to
realise, as well, that precisely our limitations is what make us human,
and thanks to it we can be conscious of what is left to be done
and to grow. For this reason, the sincere expression of humility
is not a sign of naivety or weakness, in fact it is all the
contrary: it is of clarity and interior strength.
Far from being fragile, humility shows us the greatness of the
person that manifests it, precisely because it is born from the
feeling of our own lacking: there is always something or
someone from whom to learn; it is always possible to do things
better, one can question the value and sense of what we are doing
in one's personal or professional life, and from there face the
challenges, develop new abilities, learn new lessons or build
new bridges. For this reason, humility comes together with
conscience and has a great revealing power because from it the
perspective of thought and action are infinite, as they rise
from common sense, from the reasonable doubt, from bareness
which recognizes that there is still a lot of work to do,
always to incarnate quality in all its dimensions, in oneself,
in relation with another, in our actions or creations, in Life.
Fortunately the richness which humility generates does not come
out from the drug of success which creates so much addition and
is like a well without bottom or like the carrot that is
maintained at a distance from the nose which makes the donkey
pulling the cart until it burns down for pure exhaustion moved by
a fantasy. Perhaps for this reason, humility has more to do with
fulfilment than with success, to fulfil with duties, with what
has been promised, with what has been agreed, doing well what
has to be done, what is necessary.
Therefore the humble does not show off, or gets distracted with
his achievements, but goes on working an enjoying the task,
knowing that success is not an aim in itself, but
a symptom which is not very convenient to give too much
attention to, because not only it is misleading, but it also
bewilders and can generate a severe and serious stupidity and
absorption in oneself which is manifested as a consequence of
collective flattery.
Neither it is convenient to mistake humility with false modesty,
which never fails to be an hypocritical vanity, being humility
precisely the contrary of vanity. And while this one blinds us,
moves us away from reality and separates us from others,
humility reveals us and puts us in contact with what is real,
with the essential, with the genuine which we can find in the
exterior and in our interior.
Its expression is manifested in the small things, in those
details, in communication codes which are not at all
ostentatious, but simple and basic, but of great value, because
are genuine. With time, it is these gifts that we remember, with
the perspective that life is giving us, and we know that those
and only those gifts are the ones that remain, because they are
in the memory, beyond matter, and nothing nor anybody can take
them away. Today, that nearly everything is within our reach,
being in cash or in comfortable instalments, we forget the
value of the essential, which cannot be bought with money and it
is humble in its essence, but of a not quantitative value,
sometimes even infinite. The examples are many...
To know how to listen; to offer somebody our silent receptivity,
silencing our own necessity of talking; opening ourselves to the
necessity of the other one to feel attended, accompanied,
respected, it is without doubt a gesture of humility which
fertilizes the relationship and enriches the value of
friendship.
Also a simple and sincere smile takes us to complicity, to
playfulness, betters any encounter and can also change the sign
of a better conversation or relationship.
Gratefulness is also a precious gift which is born from humility
and the recognition of the other. With it, those who have
participated in the kind exchange are able to grow. And what
about caresses, of tenderness. These are in essence pure
humility, as they are born from the skin, from nakedness and
bring us to the essential. Within them we find ourselves again
and we express what words cannot reach in detail. Also knowing
when to keep quite; not to disturb; not to be in the way is
a valuable humble gift. Leave the other one alone when this is
his/her desire. Liberate them from an unwanted advise, of the
help that has not been asked for or the company which in that
moment is bothering, and this sometimes costs us much to
understand, because it implies applying to us the same recipe
and attend to such silence or loneliness which everyone is so afraid
of nowadays. To respect the necessity of loneliness of the other
can be a great gift which rises from humility, in these days
where one of the greatest limited good is silence and quietness.
The list of "humble gifts", but of great value, could be
endless. They abound everywhere, are economical and fertilize
every relationship, in other words, they are prosperous because
they nourish the essence, the being which gives them and whom
receives them. They do not need a material object for exchange,
and only depend of our arrangement towards the other one,
including towards our own selves.
For that it is worthy to put them into practise, because on top
of it, they are extremely beneficial! Stimulates imagination,
confidence, respect, compromise and joy, between many others.
Maybe a good part of the quality of life and our relationships
lie in them.

Stevia - Sweetener of Choice for Future Generations

What is Stevia?
Stevia is one of the most health restoring plants on earth. What
whole leaf Stevia does both inside the body and on the skin is
incredible. Native to Paraguay, it is a small green plant
bearing leaves which have a delicious and refreshing taste that
can be 30 times sweeter than sugar. Besides the intensely sweet
glycosides (Steviosides, Rebaudiosides and a Dulcoside), various
studies have found the leaf to contain proteins, fiber,
carbohydrates, iron, phosphorus, calcium, potassium, sodium,
magnesium, zinc, rutin (a flavonoid), true vitamin A, Vitamin C
and an oil which contains 53 other constituents. Quality Stevia
leaves and whole leaf concentrate are nutritious, natural
dietary supplements offering numerous health benefits.
Stevia as a Sweetener
Stevia is the sweetener of the future. Because the human body
does not metabolize the sweet glycosides (they pass right
through the normal elimination channels) from the leaf or any of
its processed forms, the body obtains no calories from Stevia.
Processed forms of pure Stevia can be 70-400 times sweeter than
sugar. Whether these products are called Stevia, Stevioside,
Rebaudioside, Stevia Extract, or Stevia Concentrate, if they are
in their pure unadulterated form they do not adversely affect
blood glucose levels and may be used freely by both diabetics
and hypoglycemics. For people with blood sugar, blood pressure
or weight problems Stevia is the most desirable sweetener.
In all of its current forms Stevia has a taste unique to itself.
Along with its sweetness there is also a bitter component. The
poorer the quality of the leaf the more bitterness is evident in
the taste. In good consumer products, however, this bitter
flavor disappears as does the slight licorice taste of
whole-leaf products when appropriately diluted for consumption.
Unlike artificial sweeteners, the sweet glycosides do not break
down in heat which makes Stevia an excellent sweetener for
cooking and baking.
Stevia as a Dietary Supplement
The vast majority of reported health benefits, both from the
research laboratory and consumer experience, comes from daily
use of a water based whole leaf Stevia concentrate. Scientific
research has indicated that Stevia effectively regulates blood
sugar and brings it toward a normal balance. It is sold in some
South American countries as an aid to people with diabetes and
hypoglycemia. Since its introduction into the US, numerous
people have reported that taking 20-30 drops with each meal
brought their blood glucose levels to normal or near normal
within a short time period. Obviously each individual's
condition is different and such experimentation should be done
under the supervision of a qualified physician. An important
benefit for hypo-glycemics is Stevia's tonic action which
enhances increased energy levels and mental acuity.
Studies have also indicated that Stevia tends to lower elevated
blood pressure but does not seem to affect normal blood
pressure. It also inhibits the growth and reproduction of some
bacteria and other infectious organisms, including the bacteria
that cause tooth decay and gum disease. This may help explain
why users of Stevia enhanced products report a lower incidence
of colds and flu and why it has such exceptional qualities when
used as a mouthwash or added to toothpaste. Many people report
significant improvement in oral health after adding Stevia
concentrate to their toothpaste and using it, diluted in water,
as a daily mouthwash.
Stevia is an exceptional aid in weight loss and weight
management because it contains no calories and reduces one's
craving for sweets and fatty foods. Hunger sensations are
lessened when 10 or 15 drops are taken 20 minutes before meals.
Preliminary research data indicates that Stevia may actually
reset the hunger mechanism in people where the pathway between
the hypothalamus and the stomach has become obstructed. If so,
Stevia would help people to feel satiated sooner, helping them
to eat less.
Other benefits of adding Stevia to the daily diet include
improved digestion and gastrointestinal function, soothed upset
stomachs and quicker recovery' from minor illness. Users have
also reported that drinking Stevia tea or Stevia enhanced teas
helped to reduce their desire for tobacco and alcoholic
beverages.
Stevia concentrate tablets are available for those who want the
medicinal benefits of Stevia concentrate in an easy to swallow
tablet form.
The Stevia Leaf
Stevia leaves vary widely in quality due to many environmental
factors including soil, irrigation methods, sunlight, air
purity, cleanliness, farming practices, processing and storage.
There are also numerous species of Stevia with differing
Stevioside/Rebaudioside content. Bacterial and fungal
contamination is a serious problem and one must be careful about
the original source of Stevia. Chinese Stevia leaves are a poor
quality, containing only 5-6% of the sweet Steviosides/Rebaudiosides,
while Paraguayan leaves contain 9-13%. Stevia should be compared
according to aroma, taste, appearance and sweetness.
Leaves are available in tea bags (only from Wisdom of the
Ancients at the time of writing) and make a delicious tea. Tea
bags may be placed in any beverage desired and make a delightful
lemonade. The sweet glycosides are released more rapidly in hot
liquid than in cool liquid. You may want to place a tea bag in a
small amount of hot water for a few minutes and then add the
sweetened water to the beverage. A mild Stevia tea offers
excellent relief for an upset stomach. After use, a Stevia tea
bag placed over the eyes (similar to using a cucumber) for a few
minutes effectively tightens the skin and smoothes out wrinkles.
Ground Stevia is excellent when sprinkled lightly over cooking
vegetables and meats, cereals and salads. Besides adding its own
sweet taste it significantly enhances the flavor and nutritional
value of the food. Ground Stevia can be used in many cooking and
baking applications.
Stevioside
Refined Steviosides & Rebaudiosides are the sweetest form of
Stevia and may be purchased in a semi-white powder form (usually
referred to as an extract) or in a clear liquid made by adding
the powder to water and a preservative. The powder may be added
directly to food and beverage but in very tiny amounts. The
liquid is used drop by drop.
Stevioside has over 50% of the commercial sweetening market in
Japan, which consumes 90% of the world's supply of Stevia
leaves. The refined Chinese Stevioside product is only 80-91%
pure and some samples have been found to be high in pathogens.
There is no Paraguayan Stevioside manufacturing as of this
writing. Wisdom of the Ancients will market a 98% Stevioside/Rebaudioside
product in the fall of 1997.
Although Stevioside is a desirable sweetener it does not have
the extraordinary health benefits of the Stevia leaf or products
made from whole leaf Stevia concentrate.
Stevia for Exceptional Skin Care
Water based whole leaf Stevia concentrate offers several
exceptional benefits when used regularly in skin care. When
applied as a facial mask it effectively softens and tightens the
skin, smoothes out wrinkles and helps to heal various skin
blemishes including acne. One simply smoothes the dark liquid
over the entire face, allowing it to dry for at least 30-60
minutes. As it dries you will feel the skin tightening. A drop
of the concentrate may be applied directly on any blemish, acne
outbreak, lip or mouth sore. People report success from applying
Stevia to a variety of problem skin conditions. Stevia
concentrate is also effective when used on seborrhea, dermatitis
and eczema. Reports indicate that when a few drops of the
concentrate are placed in cuts and scratches there is a more
rapid healing of the wound without scarring. This will sting for
30-40 seconds followed by a significant lowering of pain. The
concentrate is easily washed away with soap and warm water.
In Paraguayan experiments the Stevia concentrate was added to a
unique native herbal soap made from edible oils extracted from
the seeds and leaves of trees native to the Paraguayan rain
forest. Marketed in the U.S. under the name Cream of Coco Hair &
Body Shampoo, the soap blends well with the concentrate. Used
together these two natural products help retard the graying
process and retain natural hair color, eliminate dandruff and
various scalp problems, and improve the health and luster of the
hair. Many Americans today add the concentrate to this native
soap or to their regular shampoo and report excellent results.
Most people wash the hair first and then add Stevia concentrate
to the second shampoo, allowing it to remain on the hair for a
few minutes before rinsing.
Safety of Stevia
There has never been a complaint that Stevia, in any of its
consumable forms, has caused any harmful side effects in the
1500 years of use in Paraguay and about 20 years in Japan.
Scientists who have studied Stevia state that it is safe for
human consumption.
Following extensive research Dr. Daniel Mowrey reported:
"More elaborate safety tests were performed by the Japanese
during their evaluation of stevia as a possible sweetening
agent. Few substances have ever yielded such consistently
negative results in toxicity trials as have stevia. Almost every
toxicity test imaginable has been performed on stevia extract
[concentrate] or stevioside at one time or another. The results
are always negative. No abnormalities in weight change, food
intake, cell or membrane characteristics, enzyme and substrate
utilization, or chromosome characteristics. No cancer, no birth
defects, no acute and no chronic untoward effects. Nothing."

Balance Your
pH & Alkalize Your Cell System to Become Healthy Again

When you
ingest too many acidic or acid-producing foods, for instance
meat, dairy products, yeast-containing bread, processed food
etc. the acid will corrode tissues and organs. Acid creates a
favorable environment for harmful micro organisms and bacteria
to grow that can damage glands and organs.
Acidosis Results in Disease
The term for
this over-acidification of your body cells is Acidosis. Acidosis
will interrupt cellular activities and functions, which is a
major root of disease and illness. If your body pH level is in
imbalance, your cell system will be negatively affected.
Allergies
(the absorption of undigested proteins due to an overly acidic
body is a major cause of allergy conditions), osteoporosis, join
pain, fatigue (an over-acidified body produces toxins and
weakens the body’s ability to produces enzymes and hormones) and
heart attacks can be traced back to acidosis. Above that our
body creates fast cells to protect itself from potentially
serious damage, to carry these acids away from our vital organs

The
Internal Terrain
The reason
for that lies in the realization that the body’s internal
environment is more important on our health than the impact of
any micro organism. If our internal terrain is in an alkaline
condition (the pH level is slightly above neutral at the pH
scale, which is between 7.35 and 7.4), the exposure to even the
most virulent microbes may not be able to make us sick.
Conversely,
if our internal environment is in an unhealthy, too acidic
state, disease becomes inevitable. If the pH balance inside us
is thrown off, our body loses its ability to assimilate
essential nutrients, including vitamins, proteins and minerals.
As a result, our energy production slows down, the cells
regenerate poorly and we struggle to produce enzymes and
hormones that are vital to our health.
Alkaline & Alkalizing Foods
To avoid
such a decrease of your overall healthiness you have to take a
completely new look at your nutrition and diet. Eating as much
as possible alkaline and alkalizing foods will help to balance
the body ph and get rid of acid wastes. Sunflower sprouts, flax
oil, brown basmati rice, millet, soaked almonds, tomato slices,

foods will help to balance the body ph and get rid of acid
wastes. In this regard we should ingest at least 80% of alkaline
foods, and never more than 20% of neutral or acidifying foods.
Eating alkaline foods transform our body’s pH balance from
dangerously acidic to slightly above neutral.

The concept of acid alkaline imbalance as the
cause of disease is not new. In 1933 a New York doctor named
William Howard Hay published a ground-breaking book, A New
Health Era in which he maintains that all disease is caused by
autotoxication (or "self-poisoning") due to acid accumulation in
the body:
"Now
we depart from health in just the proportion to which we have
allowed our alkalies to be dissipated by introduction of
acid-forming food in too great amount... It may seem strange to
say that all disease is the same thing, no matter what its
myriad modes of expression, but it is verily so."

How Many
of These Ridiculous "Disorders" Do YOU
Suffer From?

An article titled “Retail Therapy1” caught my attention. It
described the results of a study where “compulsive shoppers”
were treated with either the drug Citalopram or a placebo. The
lead researcher was thrilled with the results, “Patients said to
me: ‘I go to the shopping mall with my friends and I don’t buy
anything.’” Well, this patient at least bought something -- the
notion that excessive shopping is a disease to be treated with
medication.
What constitutes excessive shopping? The article states that one
of the subjects “owned 55 cameras.” I once collected cameras.
Perhaps that makes me a “victim” of this disease. By the way,
the treatment came with a price -- “some side effects, which
include loss of sexual desire and sleepiness.” The study further
admits, “It is not known why Citalopram is effective for
treating compulsive shoppers.” With big pharma seeking new
markets for existing drugs, and developing drugs in search of
diseases, it is not surprising that many of life’s challenges
are no longer considered legitimate components of the human
experience, but are now medical conditions amenable to
treatment.
The Definition of a Medicalized Society
Webster’s New Universal Unabridged Dictionary 2 defines
“medicalize” as follows: “To handle or accept as deserving of or
appropriate for medical treatment.”
Sato3 offers a more specific definition for medicalization: “A
process or a tendency whereby the phenomena which had belonged
to other fields like education, law, religion, and so on have
been redefined as medical phenomena.”
Examples abound in psychiatry’s code book for psychiatric
disorders and “conditions or problems ... which may be a focus
of clinical attention and require appropriate coding ...” This
remarkable tome is DSM-IV4. DSM-1 was first published in 1952,
titled Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
My journey into DSM-IV made me think I had fallen into Alice’s
rabbit hole.
Normal Human Experience Now Masqueraded as “Disorders”
Do you have difficulty sleeping after drinking coffee? The
problem isn’t a product of your poor judgment in guzzling java
immediately before retiring. You are a victim of 292.89 --
Caffeine-Induced Sleep Disorder F15.8. If you reflect on your
shyness while tossing and turning, the problem could be the
epidemic of 300.23 -- Social Phobia F40.1. Don’t worry. Drug
treatment is available.
Unfortunately, if you’re thinking about your place in the cosmos
or spiritual issues, you’ve got V62.89 -- Religious or Spiritual
Problem Z71.8, and I couldn’t locate a drug for that.
Bad parenting is about to become a thing of the past. It’s not
your fault, or your child’s fault. Besides the ubiquitous
pandemic of ADHD, there are other disorders you may not be aware
of.
Your ill-behaving child may be suffering from 313.81 --
Oppositional Defiant Disorder F91.3. If your child often argues
with adults, loses their temper, deliberately annoys people,
etc., you’re dealing with ODD. Of course, this must be
differentiated from 312.8 -- Conduct Disorder F91.8, and 312.9
-- Disruptive Behavior Disorder Not Otherwise Specified F91.9.
Should the problem be getting along with a brother or sister,
the condition is V61.8 -- Sibling Relational Problem F93.3. And
should you argue with your spouse about whether the child should
be grounded or drugged, you might be looking down the barrel of
V61.1 -- Partner Relational Problem Z63.0.
If math homework is a challenge, be sure to check for 315.1 --
Mathematics Disorder F81.2. You must be careful not to confuse
this with a V62.3 -- Academic Problem Z55.8. If things are OK in
the math department, but you have a teen experiencing
uncertainty about life goals, career preferences, values,
loyalties, etc., you’re dealing with 313.82 Identity Problem
F93.8. This has been downgraded from a “disorder” in DSM-III-R,
to a mere “problem” in DSM-IV. I’ll bet that makes you feel
better.
A Pill for Every Issue You Don’t Want to Face
A plethora of sexual issues are described as “disorders.” We are
all familiar with Bob Dole making erectile dysfunction a
household word, with the blue pill offering a solution. But
that’s just the tip of the, um, iceberg. If the target of your
libidinal interest is ignoring you, the problem may be 302.71
Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder F52.2.
Lest anyone be offended, I will not address the other disorders
codified in Chapter 20. Simply be happy that there are solutions
that do not require you to address issues in your relationship.
Men can obtain testosterone cream if a doctor determines that
it’s “right for you.” The stuff is said to work well. According
to an ad in JAMA5, “Sexual enjoyment and satisfaction with
erection duration were improved vs. baseline, but these
improvements were not significant compared to placebo.” The ad
shows a couple dancing, a couple riding a motorcycle, and two
pictures of men swinging golf clubs (alone) and smiling.
Perhaps the next version of DSM will have a category for “golf
disorders.”

ADHD – The Poster Child of Over-Medication
Dr. Kent is one of the wittiest and brightest medical
teachers I know of. His article is a masterful collection of
just how much conventional medicine has been able to get away
with in creating labels that justify the use of even more
unnecessary drugs.
It’s unfortunate that so many get stuck on the issues of
ADD/ADHD, (ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER) and feel
singled out when they read about unnecessary drugging, and the
over-diagnosing of people’s problems, because the fact remains
that a vast majority of these new “disorders” and “dysfunctions”
are NORMAL life occurrences, NOT signs of disease that require
drug interventions.
ADHD, for example, is a significant and real problem that some
people are challenged with. However, the symptoms for diagnosis
are so broad and vague that you’re hard-pressed to find a child
who doesn’t fit the highly non-specific profile. This of course
is used to justify the use of highly toxic and dangerous
pharmaceuticals. It is the rare clinician who will address this
with simple dietary changes.
About 10 percent of all school age children are “diagnosed” with
ADHD. Production of Adderall and Dexedrine, just two of the
drugs used to treat ADHD, has risen 2,000 percent in nine years.
And, according to the study Trends in the Prescribing of
Psychotropic Medications to Preschoolers, published in the
Journal of the American Medical Association last February,
psychotropic medication use tripled in preschool children ages
two to four over a five-year span.
Something about these equations just doesn’t add up.
I just don’t buy the idea that many of U.S. children are in
need of amphetamines to function “normally.” It also strikes me
as truly bizarre that our society condemns street-drug
amphetamine use, yet has no qualms about giving it in massive
doses -- under legalized brand names -- to two-year-olds who are
in their prime physical- and mental developmental years.
How Does Disease Mongering Work?
One of the key strategies that make medicalization of society
work, is by targeting your news media with stories designed to
create fears about the condition or disease, and draw attention
to the latest treatment. This has led to problems on several key
levels:
• People with benign, normal symptoms end up taking dangerous
drugs. Once you’re convinced that natural signs of aging and
common conditions are diseases or treatable symptoms, you take
drugs for such things as balding, anxiety, mild bone loss and
indigestion, which puts your health at risk over issues that
were not true illnesses or risks in the first place.
• People who are tested regularly end up undergoing unnecessary
treatments with drugs and invasive surgery. Very few people
after middle age can pass tests without being told that they
have some sort of "risk." This risk is then turned into a
pseudo-disease leading to such things as dangerous breast and
colon surgery and "preventative" medications.
• As a result of "disease mongering," the more the medical
industry influences a nation, the sicker that nation "considers
itself to be." It eats away at your self-confidence and teaches
you that you're weak and incapable of staying well, and that all
signs and symptoms are potentially dangerous conditions and
diseases. Truly, this sort of marketing has blurred the lines of
what drugs and surgery you really need to save your life, and
which you don't.
Rather than focusing more time and attention on your health as
you age, or as you see degeneration setting in, you might settle
for a “diagnosis” and the latest medications. The only winners
are the ones who profit financially.
Worst of all, many now seek passive medical intervention for
both physical and mental wellbeing, rather than actively
participating in it.
When symptoms arrive as a result of how poorly you've neglected
your body and mind, rather than taking personal responsibility
for your own wellness (restoring wholeness) and trusting in the
God-given recuperative powers of your body, many seek those who
are now only too willing take on this role for you.
As a result of handing over the full authority of your life over
to the industry of medicine, the pharmaceutical and medical
establishments have become so bloated, profitable and powerful,
we're now witnessing it getting completely out of control.
The harm that the present health care delivery system causes now
outweighs the good. It's time that balance gets restored --
taking the good of medicine and replacing the bad with new ways
of thinking and more appropriate ways of taking care of your
body.
How Can You Help Restore Balance?
Dr. Bruce Lipton offers encouraging and enlightening advice on
how to do this, and reminds us that conventional medicine is in
fact referred to as “the central dogma” in medical schools. And
dogma literally means, “A belief based on religious persuasion
and not scientific fact.”
How ironic is that?!
We are currently experiencing a parallel view of biological
medicine, aptly similar to what happened in 1925 when Newtonian
physics -- the concept that a material universe rules the world
– was discovered to be completely incorrect; that we do not live
in a universe based on matter, but actually a universe based on
energy -- because atoms are not made out of “atom,” they’re made
out of energy.
Hence, EVERYTHING that is material is made, or created out of
energy.
The “new biology” (it’s actually been around for 20 years, but
it takes time to turn the tide of brainwashed beliefs) has
proven that our current view of biology is just as incorrect as
our pre-1925 view that we live in a material universe.
Whereas the current medical dogma states that you are ruled by
your genes, and therefore you are at “risk,” you are a victim of
your genetic makeup. But the new biology has already dispelled
this idea as a myth, a belief that is not based on scientific
fact. In truth, your genes do not predispose you to any ONE
particular fate. Something else, which you have total control
over, rules over your genetic expression!
What is that thing?
Your MIND.
As Dr. Lipton said in my recent interview with him, “… the
new biology is going to take us from a world today of crisis and
ill health, and a failing environment and world, and take us to
another level of masterful control, where we -- in our
consciousness and our experiences of life -- will actually have
power over our own lives and not be the victims that we were
programmed to be.”
You’re in control. All you need to do is to “get with the
times,” and accept it.

What kind of beliefs does a man
have who paints pretty pictures of imagination and inspiration?
I have had many philosophical and spiritual beliefs in this life,
sometimes held strongly, other times just in inquiry or even
mystery. I noticed that my beliefs are always changing. And I
more or less think of my beliefs as just how things seem to me
now.
I see people invest great passion
in the "rightness" of their held beliefs. Jews,
Christians,
Muslims and others, often so sure they are right and others are
wrong, the fundamentalist of each ready to kill others in the
name of their "god" and their "rightness". And those with such
"conviction" calling those who disagree with their side
"terrorists".
I have listened to many teachers
and I have checked in to my own experience and innermost being
to validate, or not; what is said. It is my experience that we
are all the same oneness, and that our "separateness" is indeed
an illusion; that this illusion is vast and pervasive and seems
very real; that the stronger we indulge in the illusion the more
egoist we act, the more ignorant we are, and that all suffering we
experience is in some way a result of this complex illusion. The
illusion is a distortion of the Truth, which is always present
behind the illusion and That is all of our true nature.
When we are truly in our hearts,
truly feeling the connectedness, the love, we then feel joy and
peace as we are more being our true nature. Truth does not
assert, defend, or try to convince others. Our true nature
IS Heart, is love.
The pain and suffering and
apparent "wounds" are a result of being in illusion, in one's
egoist activity too much. Most of what is going on in our day to
day world is just a bunch of egoist programming interfacing with
other programming, more like the Matrix (film) than people
think. I know it is possible for each individual to wake up out
of the dream or illusion to realize one's true nature, one's
true being. The requirement is putting that commitment above all
else - making realizing one's true nature one's highest priority
in life. And that commitment leads in some way to honest SELF INQUIRY (specifically, SELF INQUIRY into the truth of one's
self, one's true nature, and what activities of MIND one
habituates which keeps one from realizing what they already
always are).
And when it comes to "beliefs" it
is important not to simply take the words of another and recite
them as one's own, or quote them from a scripture, but to always
find out for oneself through personal experience. And to share
from there (personal experience) what one has found freely, openly, and relaxedly with others - for them to accept or reject as they
wish. The diversity of perspectives, when shared casually with
others can be a wonderful thing, expanding life's possibilities.
Wanting or forcing others to see things the way you do is
counter productive and not fun. I think this is one of the
downfalls of traditional religions - trying to force or persuade
others to their way of seeing things.
My devotion is to Truth. My
highest priority and commitment in life is to abiding as and
living life from my true, natural state. I regularly visit and
listen and speak with my teachers, who talk about this with
others who are interested. I have found some great teachers who
are quite good at pointing to the Truth. I gladly point to the
pointers and you can connect with them here if you wish.
Therefore, to sum up my
philosophy I would state simply:
1) We are all the same one
"consciousness" that can take itself to be anything - and thus
we seem to be what we take ourselves to be.
2) All that we experience in life
is based on our interpretation. Our interpretation determines
the nature of our existence.
3) ALL suffering and
unfulfillment is the result of faulty interpretation - of taking
ourselves to be "somebody" separate from others - taking
ourselves to be an identity different from our true nature.
4) Therefore, having the
broadest, truest angle of vision, the most accurate
interpretation is wise.
5) Truly realizing and abiding as
one's true nature (consciousness), the natural state, is the
only way to accomplish this.
6) The requirement for
enlightenment is to make #5 one's highest priority in life,
above comfort, security, pleasure, etc. Then one will naturally
attract the help and support one needs to wake up and stabilize
in living that awakening. Stabilizing involves inquiring into
and seeing all the ways in which one has avoided one's true
nature, all the programming and habits and fixations, including
one's very notion of being "separate".
Thus, I have found that the ONLY
solution to the world's and an individual's struggle and
suffering or unfulfillment is true self-realization
(enlightenment). All other approaches and "solutions" are pseudo
and/or temporary and are of the realm of hidden programming,
which goes deeper than people realize. All those beings
throughout history who have truly self-realized have said the
same things -among those things that we are in a state of
illusion which is so profound that even our notion of
separateness is illusion; that the answer to life's woes is
through Truth - which inevitably leads to self-realization - the
awake state. The awake state is always present behind the
illusion. It is not "attained", it is what is always there and
comes forth when the illusion is busted. All are now invited to
wake up from the dream.
