The Human Forum of the
Alliance for a New Humanity (ANH) will take
place in Europe for the first time, following other
global forums and the recent Costa Rica Forum, held
in March of this year. “Transformation” is the
fundamental concept in all forums of the Alliance,
addressing individuals, groups and organisations
that are determined to commit themselves to change.
The following key questions will
be formulated at both personal and group levels: How
can I improve myself and what can I do to achieve
this?. Which are our illusions, our dreams? How can
we make them come true? Therefore, the first step to
individual change comes from within our hearts. This
will then become apparent worldwide on a larger
scale, because social transformation is the logical
consequence of individual change. The most obvious
change is the one that affects ourselves, which
transcends to others and thus leads to “a critical
mass” (quoting Deepak Chopra) which will ultimately
generate social change.
The three basic principles of the
Alliance are thus: “To be the change”, “To make the
difference” and “To create connectivity networks”.
The purpose of the Forum is to put these three
principles into practice.
The First European Human Forum is
designed to initiate an in-depth dialogue with
regards to the truly important things in life, to
listen to and understand each other, to share
personal experiences, perceptions and to jointly
design new ways of working together.
